I’ve noticed the older versions take longer to startup, regardless of hardware on the computer, but this new version loads quick. Quickbooks 2011 starts really fast, much faster than Quickbooks 2008 or 2006. I don’t do a lot of accounting, so I don’t keep Quickbooks up all the time, so when I go to launch it, I want to it hurry up so I can finish what I’m doing.

One of the best things I like about Quickbooks Pro 2011 is the startup times.

I did backup everything before doing the upgrade, just to be sure. The install went smoothly over my Quickbooks 2008 install and updated my company file with little effort. They gave me a slight discount, which is not bad considering they’re telling me I have to upgrade. I just bought this for around $169, since I was an existing Quickbooks user. For this week I thought I would review Intuit Quickbooks Pro 2011.
